Safely Back Home and Proud Of My Green Passport أبناءنا المشاركون على برامج ومنح إيه أف إس مصر للبرامج الثقافية التعليمية، ومتطوعي وأصدقاء إيه أف إس مصر للبرامج الثقافية التعليمية تحية طيبة نشارككم فرحتنا بعودة آخر المشاركين على برامجنا المختلفة للوطن ، وأيضاً عودة المشاركين محلياً من الاجانب الذين تم استضافتهم فى مصر على برامج التبادل الثقافى لأوطانهم بسلام بعد تفاقم أزمة فيروس كوفيد-19 وحال تعذر استمرار تنفيذ البرامج بصورتها المعتادة يصل اليوم بمشيئة الله من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية أبناؤنا المشاركون على برنامج كيندي-لوجر للتبادل الثقافي والدراسي للشباب قادمين من واشنطن العاصمة ومتجهين إلى مدينة مرسى علم على متن طائرة مصر للطيران لقضاء فترة الحجر الصحي هناك في رعاية وزارة الصحة والسكان ولا يسعنا في هذه الأوقات التي أثرت فينا جميعاً إلا أن نتقدم بخالص التقدير والإجلال والامتنان لمعالي وزير الخارجية السفير/ سامح شكري على شمول أبنائنا برعايته وهم خارج وطنهم والاستجابة السريعة من فريق عمل الخارجية المصرية وطاقم السفارة المصرية بواشنطن وشركة مصر للطيران لتيسير عودة أبنائنا بسلامة الله لوطنهم؛ وأيضاً نرسل أصدق آيات التقدير لأولياء أمور الطلاب المشاركين في البرامج على ثقتهم في سفراء المستقبل وقدرتهم على تحمل المسئولية وأخيراً وليس آخراً تحية واجبة لمتطوعي والعاملين ب إيه أف إس مصر للبرامج الثقافية التعليمية على الجهد الغير مسبوق لمساندة أبنائنا معنوياً أثناء تجربتهم الفريدة من نوعها وأثناء تواجدهم في فترة الحجر الصحي، والتنسيق مع كافة المؤسسات داخل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لإنهاء إجراءات السفر تعد إيه أف إس مصر للبرامج الثقافية التعليمية لها باع وخبرة وسمعة طيبة في حرفية إجلاء المشاركين على برامجها في الأزمات والكوارث في إطار منظمة إيه أف إس الدولية. ولكن تجدر الإشارة والإشادة أن من قاد وأدار عملية الاجلاء ويسّر عودة أبنائنا هي الخارجية المصرية بأذرعها المختلفة is proud to announce the safe return of all participants of its outbound programs Fellow participants, volunteers and Friends of , we would like to share with you the safe return of all our participants and the departure of our hosted students in the various AFS run programs. This unfortunate ending of the experience came in response to the global pandemic Covid-19. has been well recognized all over the AFS network for its speedy, efficient and safe evacuation process in crisis. The experience this time as well was beyond comparison. We are proud and honored that the safe return of our students was in high collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The participants of the Kennedy Lugar/ YES Program were the last to arrive today on the Egyptair Dreamliner from Washington DC and due to arrive in Marsa Alam for their quarantine period. At this emotional moment, we would like to pay respect to our Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Amb. Sameh Shoukry for the immediate response and unprecedented care that sheltered our participants, and in the front line the Egyptian embassy in DC. We thank families of participants for their patience and trust in our young ambassadors, and last but not least the volunteers and staff of who exerted heroic efforts for the safe return of our participants.
